Recently my son discovered an aria that my Mother used to sing when I was younger. They live far apart yet share a passion for music. The centerpiece is a slow-motion duet: a video of my son playing cello projected onto a pink tulle scrim, overlaid with the sound of my Mother's voice, singing Musetta's Waltz from Puccini’s La Boheme. While they are connected through music, they are separated by time and space.
