Plan ahead! See dates and venues for encaustic workshops below.

Repurposing Fiber With Warm Wax - tentatively July 2019 at Schack Art Center, Everett, WA
This class is an opportunity to take used natural fiber clothing (silk, cotton, linen) such as shirts, skirts, scarves, even (pliable) handbags, deconstructed hats and shoes -- and make them into transformed 3-d artwork. We’ll be adding wire and wax for support to make freestanding encaustic sculptures.

Northwest Foraging & Wax - tentatively June 2019 at Schack Art Center, Everett, WA
Are you a ‘gatherer’ of natural materials? Have you been waiting for ‘just the right idea’ for what to do with those glorious collections? Bring in your 100% dried flowers, leaves, berries, twigs, grasses, shells and turn them into soft sculptural wall hangings with fiber bases.

Warm Wax Open Studios - tentatively May 2019 at Schack Art Center, Everett, WA
Do you have unfinished encaustic projects you’d like to revisit? Are there pieces you’d like a little feedback on how to finish? Or just not have room for an encaustic studio where you live? Then this is the class for you. Join us for this 4-hour class from 5-9 Friday night
